Asking for toilet

My little girl keeps saying "I need the toilet" and when I say "shall we go to the toilet?" she says yes. But once we get to the bathroom she says no no no and gets scared of the toilet. She will sit on it for maybe 30 seconds and do not and then she says "I'm finished" or "all done" having not done anything. Any advice please? Is it too early? I'm trying to be very relaxed about it and not rush her.

Mine does the same! It's a great sign that she's interested so just go with it even if nothing happens in the end or if she changes her mind. At some point she'll do her business but the roleplaying is an important step x

Do you sit her on the actual toilet seat ? Or potty? Sometimes there worried about falling in you could try one of the smaller toilet seats that you put on the toilet for them so it’s right size for there bums and they don’t feel like there going to drop in if that makes sense maybe try a fav teddy sitting on toilet to show it’s ok and it’s also ok if she’s not ready but being interested is a good sign and no harm in trying the smaller toilet seat and seeing if she’s ready but just worried about the big toilet seat

@Stephanie it's a toilet training seat so the mini seat that sits on top of the toilet seat. She'd fall through the main toilet seat if I put her on there 😂 will keep trying

Oh ok lol 😂 maybe show a fav dolly or teddy sitting on it that’s how I got my oldest to start sitting on the potty
