First midwife appointment

I have my first appointment next Thursday the 19th I’ll be 9 weeks + 6 x

I just had mine at 11w 2d

my first appointment with midwife is on Tuesday, I will be 8 weeks exactly. I can’t remember exactly when I put in the referral for the midwife service but I remember it said to wait 2-3 weeks before hearing from them, but they called me two days after I put in the referral and was super shocked and said I didn’t expect to hear so soon, but they said they’ve got midwives on annual leave etc quite a bit this month so they want to make sure appointments are booked lol. so i’d say on average you should wait 2/3 weeks before hearing from them bcos that was what i was supposed to do (but also different areas might do things different, this is the east sussex service for me) Xx

Ah okay thank you everyone, I self referred at 5 weeks or so but hopefully I hear back soon! Just to sort childcare etc if anything

I’m the same. Self referred on 1st September but haven’t heard anything yet about the midwife appt. I have got the scan appointment though. I’m 7 weeks 4 days today.

I had my first appointment with the midwife at 7w3 days but we assumed I was 8 weeks at the time based on period

I had my first at 8 weeks (telephone) then another in person a few days later
