unprotected sex
sorry if this is too TMI for this group, just wanted to see where ladies in similar stages are with this. when do y'all think it's "safe" to go without condoms? i am 12 weeks postpartum. i have been on the mini pill for 3.5 weeks, and currently on my second period cycle PP. we are using condoms. i would like to stop using them. obviously we would still practice the pull out method, but precum is my biggest concern. my june baby is my first baby, those of you where this is your second or third, how long did you continue to use condoms? i'm in no rush by any means to stop using them, would just like to know others opinions. basically, my goal is to not get pregnant again any time soon!

Doctors say a woman is super fertile within a year of giving birth, so I’d say keep using condoms for at least a year and stay on your birth control. You can use apps like Flo and Period Calendar to track your ovulation and days you’re most likely to get pregnant.
We didn’t use them and I got pregnant haha so this is my second baby! However I was not on the pill or anything just the pull out method. I also didn’t mind if I got pregnant again. But I waited like 6 months first. My kids are 18 months apart now.

I would continue to use them until you’re at a stage where you’re comfortable having an oops pregnancy if it occurs. I’ve seen so many women on here getting pregnant on their birth controls 😅
