I have had many dogs and each takes a piece of my heart when I lose them 💔 he will always be there with you. I do something when I lose a friend, I write down a list of everything I love about them the most. Trust me, over time you will forget. And I keep a lock of hair. And when you come across the list in years to come, it will be like he is right there with you. My heart goes out to you ❤️
Thankyou he is my first dog as an adult I've lost and it was hard but we were with him and I felt his heart stop. We have some of his hair and pawprint too but vets is also giving us that. We have made a space in cabinet for him when he comes home and yes I'll definitely write a list about him. I'm just heartbroken he got this horrible illness at such a young age x

Sorry for your loss. My jack russell passed away on Monday, she was nearly 17. She was also my first dog as an adult, it’s heartbreaking isn’t it x
