Birthday ideas for a birthday very close to Christmas

I'm getting all stressed about little ones birthday. I want her to feel special and have a special day but don't know what to do for her. Her brother has a lovely garden party for his as his birthday is may but that's definitely not an option with hers. What are your plans/ideas. I thought about a 2 day get away to make it feel specifically for her birthday but that's expensive but if I invited a load of guests to a house party I'd still have to fork out in food and most people wouldn't turn up anyway. Any ideas please?
