UPDATE *Maternal fetus specialist

Today at 9:45 I have to go see a Maternal fetus specialist…. My OB is concerned about my sugar level being too high and she thinks I may have type 2 diabetes….. which I was never diagnosed with before pregnancy. I’m currently 20 weeks …. I’m so nervous I pray my SON is healthy… I feel him move constantly…. I just pray I don’t have to take insulin….

Good luck. I'm going through something similar so I totally get it. Sadly where I live they don't do anatomy scans until 22 weeks so I have until the 25th to have any peace of mind at this point....

Just stay on top of your food and walk!! Walking and staying active keeps your sugars low. Baby will be just perfect! And this is not your fault. You are not doing anything wrong. Itll be ok🫶🏻

@Erika for me my boy looked great and according to them he’s 12oz , but they wasn’t able to get is full anatomy scan because he was super active … so my OB told them I was a diabetic but I’m not …. I never been diagnosed and I don’t take meds…. So now I have to check in with the specialist once a month too …. Also he expressed his concern about SUA … but I feel fine and my baby looks healthy
