How long?

How long have you all been ttc #2? It's been 15 months for us and it'd starting to really get to me. I am just starting to come on now 😥 and I feel so upset. I don't know whats going on and I don't know what to do.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. Have you talked with your OB or Gynecologist about this? Have you done any fertility testing on you or your partner? Do you know for sure if you’re ovulating? Do you know with confidence you are timing sex appropriately for conception? Did you have trouble conceiving the first time? Do you have any known health issues?

How long did it take you to get pregnant with #1? Took me 3 tries with my first and then I was diagnosed with secondary infertility at trying for 9 months. Started medicated cycles. Got pregnant on letrozole for first time at 11 months of trying. Ended up being an ectopic pregnancy. Then 2 more cycles of letrozole after a break and I got pregnant the 2nd time with an added trigger shot. So technically it took us 14 tries before my current pregnancy (31 weeks tomorrow). But I had help with letrozole and a trigger shot so it could've continued to not happen if I didn't do that. It was such a hard journey, I was confident that I would get pregnant quickly and boy was I wrong. I got to go in for my fertility appointments earlier, after 6 months of trying because I was 35 years old. Would you ever think of taking clomid or letrozole?

@Rachel I haven't spoken to my Dr yet but I plan to. I've done ovulation tests and regularly have sex. No fertility issues were aware of and the first time we were very lucky and conceived on the first month.

@Julia congratulations! We were lucky amd conceived first time. I never considered fertility issues before due to that. I think I need to speak to my doctor

It’s been about the same time frame for us with baby #2. I just got a referral to the fertility clinic I recommend you look into that as well. I have pcos and thyroid issues so this is expected and I had to use letrozole with my first. Ffter 6 months to 1 year you should definitely get testing done

With our first it took 18 months and a miscarriage before our successful pregnancy. This time it's taken 3 months much to my surprise as I was expecting a rough journey again. I'd definitely speak to your doctor regarding fertility tests just to make sure everything is ok x

Can you tell from the ovulation tests if you are getting a positive? They are the opposite of a pregnancy test. They are only considered positive if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line.

Do you have issues with insulin pcos? With my first I tried for 7 years didn’t know I had it this time I got pregnant like the 2nd month of usuong ovisitol and I have had trouble ovulation in the past I took that and maca root and a couple other supplements the it was ovisitol that helped
