Help please with this
Hi all basically I got offered a council flat and I do have a job but currently on maternity leave, and I’m not getting paid from my work. My husbands contracted hours are only 20hours. I was wondering does anyone know if I can get housing benefit until I go back to work? Or apply for universal credit ?

You get housing benefit through universal credit so I'd just apply and see. There's calculators on the gov website so you can see what your entitlement is and if your entitled
