Help please

I know this is a BD chat but i need help from all of you mothers with a situation that’s happening. So my SD is 3 and her mother said my SD has a UTI because she is being potty trained but we have never had issues with her potty training like that. We constantly ask her if she needs to potty and she does go but she also tells us she needs to go to the bathroom so I can’t understand. Is that possible? What should my husband do

take her to the dr and check to see if she’s been touched 😣 but if the drs find nothing wrong then yes. residents and patients have utis from not using the bathroom enough. not drinking water cleaned properly. etc

Would it open an investigation or anything if we get her checked to see if she has been touched

Do take her to the doctors and get her checked up on uti and possible if she's been touched , sadly it will open a case but if nothing is found it will be closed fast and hopefully she isn't being touched and just not wiping right when she's not with you guys

If she uses the bathroom and is verbal when she has to use the bathroom chances are she may not be drinking enough water or worse case scenario she may have been touched which is causing her the infection (which I pray it was just not enough water intake) and if you do get her checked to see if she was touched chances are a case will be opened immediately

Can i ask what sd means ?

@Kaci from what I've read off reddit and a few other posts on other sites it means step daughter so I assume that what she means by SD in this post

@Rhiannon that makes sense thank you i see so many abbreviations on here and they confuse me so much 🤣

@Kaci same so I guess what it is till it sounds right inless I can't think of anything so I'd have to ask

what are u saying? babies get infections

@Nelphy we didnt just receive her with a UTI, she also had strep throat and Covid. When she’s with us she hardly gets sick if anything the common flu. It’s not the first time she comes like that from her mother’s place. I just care about my SD and as a stepmother and mother I’ve never had these issues with my daughters so yes it’s something new I’m dealing with that I never heard of.
