@Celia Yeah I hope so as she’s just really judgmental and when I express any concerns she’s like it’s normal or I mention the really severe back pain I’ve had and she’s like you have to deal with it and was just really making me feel uncomfortable with her attitude I get this is her job and she’s used to seeing so many people but I have concerns as a first time mum also with a high bmi and I just wanted to see what was wrong/happening with me
She was annoyed that I didn’t mention I needed a blood test for the Down syndrome screening as I wasn’t able to get it done at my scan and she was like you’re supposed to tell me these things but it’s right in front of her in my book and I feel like I can’t really tell her anything but I might call the hospital tomorrow and see what they say I should do.. thank you for your response
I feel you but even if its nothing wrong with u and are normal symptoms she will be nicer and kind, bc as you said its your firts time and in sorry you feel this way bc its annoying, please try to contact your hospital and let them know about everything im sure they will be able to change your appointments with another midwife, said you dont feel comfortable and thats it, they have many more working for them 🙏
I changed mine! Didn’t affect any of my scheduling and I was much happier x
Mmm dindt have any problem with my midwife during pregnancy but if you dont feel comfortable change it as soon as you can, maybe you can call/text your helath center about it or even the hospital you attend as they work usually for the hospital not for the gp, in my case was Royal London, hopem you can find a solution bc I feel the same way when I was giving birth and the midwife on duty was very rude, I wont never forget it
