Hormone testing

So I've had very low libedo since going on mirena after my son was born in 2019, just no interest at all, I've tried multiple supplements, changing diet, etc but nothing seems to help, has anyone done at home hormone testing to see levels? Insurance doesn't cover testing unless there's a suspected health issue and mine doesn't qualify, the at home is much more affordable but I don't want to waste the money if it's not going to help

Have you spoken to your gyn about the changes you've been experiencing or your PCP? They may be able to help and get some kind of testing started for you.

Unfortunately, I've talked to both and they said the insurance won't cover it unless there's a reason. And since I'm on an antidepressant that's what the insurance says is the reason

When I was on antidepressants my psychiatrist prescribed wellbutrin (also known as bupropion) and it helped with suppressing some of the side effects from the antidepressants. Once I was on it for a little while I regained interest in sex. It took about 3-4 weeks to feel a difference but it did help. I did have to invest in some toys as well just because until I was adjusted to the meds it took forever to achieve an orgasm.

I'm on that already for about a year, and we use toys I just hate the feeling of I'm forcing myself
