RANT - Diaper changes

How many times do I have to ask to get a diaper changed? I swear every time I ask my children’s father the response is “hold on” “wait” , like are you kidding me? I have been asking for over an hour, and it’s usually just because I’ll be busy doing a chore. But nope, nothing changes. It’s just “click click click” playing stupid computer games. And I end up changing the damn diapers. I’m so tired. I’m just so done with asking. This is so stupid

That’s how my bd was I just gave up and did everything for my daughter.

My husband sometimes acts like that too because of the pc game, and he does it start asking for all the things like diaper, diaper cream etc, even tho I am in the kitchen and he is like 2 or 3 feet from the object

It’s called weaponized incompetence. Look it up. I would stop asking. I would only take care of my baby and my needs. I’d ignore and stop anything I did for him..I do mean anything. Leave and go visit family and friends. Take your baby out for fresh air. Meet friends for lunch. Just fill your schedule outside the house and get a babysitter too at some point to have fun with friends. He’s taking advantage and lots of women are filing for divorce because they’re so burned out from married life, motherhood and no rest chronically. If you want to save your marriage, start setting boundaries. Start with not doing anything for him or asking him to do anything for you. I know it sounds counterintuitive but men understand and pay attention to action more than words. Seriously, stick to it from now on.This will save your marriage if it’s salvageable!
