Lifting Items

Hi Everyone! Just a quick question as this is my first pregnancy and I’m being very delicate lol. I work in HR at an automotive plant and I’ve been pretty good about managing all safety related things without spilling the beans. However today, I got fed up and moved my office printer which is just the standard desktop printer and it was very light but I’m a little concerned as I can feel a little cramping but nothing out of the norm of what I normally feel and it’s more a little pain in my right hip. But no other symptoms however I don’t really have any typical first trimester symptoms outside of being sleepy and nauseous when I don’t eat in time. Just wanna be sure as I’m super excited and don’t wanna risk anything!

Don't lift anything heavy. You can still lift. Just don't overdo it because that's what happens to me if I push myself then it makes me feel like I threw out my back lol take breaks when you can

Okay thanks! Yeah I’m sitting now and the printer weighs like 18 pounds so it was thankfully under 20. But moving forward i will just limit it if I can

They say not to lift anything your body isn’t used to for example women that go to the gym and lift weights can continue to do so as their body is used to it, women that work in daycare can still pick up babies/children because their body is used to it, women that have other children can continue to pick them up because their body is used to it Im sure you get my drift now 😆
