Birthdays

No. We just had a family dinner. My son was about 4 months old at the time.

I didn’t do anything for my 30th birthday this year and my baby was 5 months and I regret it! You’re not a bad mom if you are able to give back to yourself a little. You should do it!

Is a babysitter an option?

Everyone’s different but I never found I was able to relax and socialise properly if I took baby with me to any kind of celebration.

I wouldn’t have any Bday parties w my babies if it was a girls night. With family yes okay but my girls nights are kid free. Even going out w Hubby for date night we prefer that baby free

My son was about 7 months at my 30th and I left him with my sister for a few hours and my husband and I went out and had a great time and also went to dinner. I’m quite happy I did! He’s 18 months now and even now I very rarely leave him with anyone, but I’m glad I took a few hours that day to have some fun with just hubby. I didn’t feel like a bad mom and he certainly didn’t notice haha. My sister loved spending that time with him as well.
