Boy name in honour of my mum.

My mum has sadly passed away. Her name was Karlene. I want to see if there is a way of honouring her in some way in my son's name but without using the name Karl. Any suggestions please?

Kyle, Kaleb, Kai, any K name, did she have a middle name? Or a favourite show or film you watched together? My mother in law passed and finding a way to honour her for a boy has had us thinking of memories instead of her actual name, or matching initials so first and middle names match a little x Sorry for your loss

Karlton? Kashtin, Kaleb,Karson So sorry for your loss x

Kolton x

Leon, Leonie, Arlen

Karter,karson x

Karl is a Germanic variant of the name Charles - both names have the same meaning of "free man". so Charles or Charlie could work as a tribute to Karlene, or other diminutive of the name - Chuck, Chip or Chad. other ideas: Kal Kale - Haiwaiin version of Karl Arlo Arley Arlen/Arlan Kalen - male version of Karlene Lenny Karlen Karlsen/Karlsen Karlton/Carlton Karlos/Carlos Kallahan Karter Karson Kallum Kalder Kallan Kenny Kaleb Karey Karlo Kaleo Kane Kylo Ren Lee Kai the names Franklin, Francis, Frankie and Frank all mean "free man"- the same meaning as Karlene, so they could also work as a tribute to your mum. 💙

@Amber I have been thinking Kyle!

@Alana I've been thinking Arlen!

@Madelina ♡ I do like Kalen was also thinking Kylen?

@Amy yesy mums maiden name is one of his middle names. It's not really suitable as a first name but I'm struggling so much for a first name that I'm trying to see if there is any further inspiration.

Karlson?

I can see Arlen going well with any middle name too!

Leo Kyle Curtis Leon Carlton
