First birthday party

IMHO the first birthday party is more for the family than the child as they will neither remember nor have any idea what is going on. So it's really about what you guys want to do and who you want to celebrate it with. It's fine to go low key and add stress free as possible. Or if you are big party people then you can go bigger (just make sure you have a quiet space that someone can take baby to if it all starts getting too much). We just had family around for ours (I think we also invited closer family friends) - that was nice, not too much tidying up afterwards and easy to fit in naps and feeds.

I did a buffet! Folx paid the lunch price and ate as much as they wanted. My twins did a smash cake. We asked for no gifts due to them paying for lunch but folxs bought some. It was stress free and fun way to celebrate

I am planning 2 parties this month and I haven’t even started yet 😩😩😂
