Children

Hey guys I'm new here unfortunately but we've been divorced for about 3 years, he's currently out of state doing a job, my children are 11 and under wr have 5... I just got a phone call about how I don't call him to let him talk to the kids...... Now am I wrong for telling him he should be the one calling if he wants to talk to the kids he's an adult, I will admit his oldest could call him if he wanted to, but I'm not going to make him

It goes both ways. He needs to make the effort to call / text the kids and if they are old enough they can call / text their dad. Sounds like he’s just using his lack of communication as a weapon to blame you. Ignore and tell him to contact the kids and maybe they would make the effort to contact him too.

@Mscee kids do end up making their own choice but it will always be the woman’s fault in their ex’s eyes 🙄 Tbf I’d rather take the blame than let my ex abuse my kids any day of the week xx

@mscee yes my oldest has his own phone and can call his dad if he wants but he never wants to and I'm not going to force him, and like you said no matter what we do, if I had the kids call him or if I didn't it's always going to be me being the bad guy so. His youngests don't know or understand so they always ask where he is and stuff, but my oldest unfortunately has been through everything with me and wants nothing to do with his dad
