Pregnancy with Warwick or George Elliot which is best

I’m under Warwick hospital I picked it as I’ve had MC’s and GE and UC so thought fresh start. However I’m really not happy with the service I’ve had but not sure if it’s just maternity wards in general I am under consultant and he didn’t have my results the midwife did a Doppler and couldn’t find a heartbeat and told me it was fine. And a further consultant appointments have been cancelled and I’ve just been given a voicemail to say everything is fine stay on the same meds. I rang last night with really bad pains and they told me to take paracetamol and call back if it continues it did continue for 6 hours but I just felt abit like they didn’t really care. Thankfully I think he is fine but I just wanted abit more reassurance! If I switch to George Elliot are they any better or are they all the same? I’m just abit disheartened and feel like my worries were not warranted I just want to feel reassured this is my 5th pregnancy after 4 losses so I am probably more anxious than others however I do try and keep it under control and I was really struggling yesterday and think if I ever have to call again will they even answer as it took me around an hour to get through to Warwick last night Any experiences of Warwick or George Elliot appreciated ❤️

I had a planned C section at George Eliot back in February (2024) and honestly the care I received there was brilliant. Same with appointments and going to triage to monitor baby boy if I needed to go in. The only thing I wasn’t happy with, was my consultant 😅 but other than that everything else has been brilliant x

@Adriana Thankyou! I think I’ve made my mind up I’m really peed off with Warwick hormones are probably making everything seem 100x worse but I’m going to ask to be switched next week! I’m glad you had a great experience xx

I hope it goes well for you! Sending love 🥰🤍

I’m with George Eliot now, first birth was horrendous I won’t say too much. But I’m trying to get a c section with my 2nd and it’s proving to be tough and they’re making me go through loops to get one even with a valid reason. Midwives are brilliant but my consultant not very, I’ll be moving to Coventry hospital if nothing is done by my 32w apt. I wish you all the best🩷🩵

@Georgia I think I saw a post about something similar! Or it was you who posted hope you get your c section!!! I’ve heard it’s quite hard to get approval however keep pushing and you should eventually get it I think the lesson is all consultants just don’t seem that interested ! It’s so annoying

I had to fight with my consultant to get my c section, she was honestly so awful! She was acting as if she was about to get the surgery for me 🫠 @Georgia keep pushing. I hope you get it x

I am GEH and previous pregnancy. I had no problems apart from long waiting times. But always feel supported. I have attended triage over 30 times due to complications in pregnancy and always been fine. Midwife’s are very supportive.

Iv had 2 babies at g.e my first one 7 years ago I had a problem in labour they saved my baby I will never forget the care and attention I got there. Went back last year to have my 2nd I had a lot of issues with that pregnancy and it was high risk and again I can’t fault them after the horror of my 1st birth I was terrified of having another baby but the midwives helped me so much and I had such a positive birth it was amazing I’m so glad I had the to have a positive birth .

I was under George Eliot and I had fabulous midwives to empower me to challenge wherever I didn't feel comfortable. But were errors made at George Eliot YUP which caused me unnecessary stress but because I had great midwives I challenged questioned and opposed everything I didn't agree with or made no sense. Because a professional is skilled in their profession but you know your body best.

P.s no two experiences are the same! I've given birth in Warwick, University and George Eliot at home (against instructions as I was 13 days overdue)
