I would do a gift, children don’t understand money and would get more enjoyment from unwrapping something x

I would take a gift, I usually choose a book which would probably be between £5 and £10.

I've always taken a gift to parties, especially thie young. A book, puzzle, anything small (under £10 i would say) x

I usually do a smyths gift card so they can go and choose something with their parents 😊

When kiddos are young, I usually get them something they can color/paint. My daughter went to a kindergarten friend's party a couple weeks ago; the little girl likes unicorns, so I got her this little Paint Your Own Unicorn kit. As they get older and their tastes get more expensive...I just give money. 😂

When my eldest was a baby/toddler I would use £10 and buy a gift when she got in to nursery around age 3 I put it down to £5 as she was invited to many more but yes at a young age I would suggest a small gift over money

Money or gift cards, the worst thing for a parent is ending up with loads of stuff they already have similar or identical toys… they can choose something with their parents at a later date… also it depends on your relationship with that person, your not obliged to give money or gifts to someone you don’t consider a close friend or family, a nice card and actually showing up should be enough!
