That’s amazing!! How much time did you spend expressing?

Can we use the same syringe to collect more collostrum the nest days? Like freeze it, collect and add more using same one?

@Avy My instructions said yes over 48 hrs keep it in the fridge rather than freezing then put in the freezer at the end of the 48 hrs

Where did you get the syringes from??

@Alicia I’d say a good 20-30 minutes. I was massaging and ‘C’ cupping my areolas and nipples and my husband bless him was collecting with the syringe😊

@Avy I don’t actually know. I will need to check with my midwife but for now I’ve stuck the hospital label on the syringe and included today’s date and put it straight in the freezer. I think we’re supposed to add the time collected as well so going to add that to the label now.

@Lauren My midwife gave them to me during my appointment on Saturday. I was 36+5 at the time of my appointment and was told not to try collecting until Monday when I reached 37 weeks.
