WFH/SAHM

Stay at home moms that are also working from home, what’s your way of making income? Any recommendations? I’m working 5hours a days and also take care of my baby but I want more income because groceries right now are crazy 🥲

We’re all struggling out here 😓 I’m doing babysitting on and off and I signed up with Pampered Chef to be a consultant. I was skeptical about pampered chef but it’s been a lot easier than I thought it would be and you can do it as much or as little as you want. I’d be happy to share more info if you want to learn more about it 😊

Following because saaaame!!!

@Rachel yesss! I would love that! :) can I follow u on Instagram? And message u there

@Rachel can I message you too for more information?

I have a job! I copy/edit and translate for an international publishing company. Thankfully, I'm able to get all of my work done during nap and after the kids go to bed. I'm very much still a SAHM. My kids and all the household duties are very much my main responsibility.

@Jean @Denisse yes reach out whenever you like! My cooking and PC Instagram is flourandfeathers. Reach out on here or there :)

commenting because me too 😭

@Shanee Omgg that’s also nice! Can I get more information? Where do u want me to message u???

@Rachel thank youu! I’ll do it

@Shanee so you speak another language to be able to do this job?

@Jean I'm not a recruiter or in charge of hiring, so I don't really have info on that. Im just an employee. If you have direct questions about the position, I may be able to help.

@Chloe yes I'm fluent in 3 languages but I don't always accept translation work. I mostly copy/edit. When I translate, it's just extra money.

@Shanee I’d be interested as well. I know you aren’t in charge and am just an employee but is your company hiring? Can I apply? What is the company name?

@Shanee can you message me information on the work you do? I am bilingual as well English and Spanish but would love to know more 😊

@Shanee that's amazing! I've been struggling with learning Spanish. Do you have any advice for learning new languages? I've got vocab down but conjugation really just stumps my brain.

@Shanee I am actually looking to work on something similar as you can you send me information please !! Like in the company you work and maybe a link where I can apply

I need help too! Does anyone here do data entry from home !

I WFH and I have 2 jobs, I’m a Clinical Psychologist so I have 1 job supervising/training therapists and I have a small private practice on the side where I see patients. My husband is a SAHD, and doesn’t work. I can pop in and out between sessions/meetings and spend time with the baby.

@Teresa wow!🤯 you’re amazing!🤩

Ok, so some quick information on the position. It is not entry level, and you need a 4 year university degree. At least for the company I work for. I have seen some companies where that isn't required. I have a choice of assignments and a deadline. I'm paid bi-weekly and then paid once the assignment is completed. I updated my resume and edited a sample piece, and I was contacted by a few head hunters, and I chose the best option for my family. There are many companies that copy/edit. You can search the normal job boards to apply. I checked my company's website, and they aren't hiring. Some copy/edit positions are also freelance.
