GDT

Did anyone feel horrible after GDT? I just had mine today but I don’t feel okay, I keep sleeping and waking up. I am super thirsty too and I have a weird headache.

It's completely normal, the midwife's let me know most woman experience fatigue and other symptoms with the high sugar consumption

@Salma ahhh I see! I felt ok after mine, but did feel a bit of a sugar crash later in the day. Mine came back positive though so maybe that's why I didn't really have any symptoms 🤣

Worst test I’ve ever done. Almost had to stop it halfway through because I was dizzy, hot and sweaty. This was last pregnancy. If they ask me to do it this pregnancy I think I’ll decline and just wear a glucose monitor. Apparently it’s super random who feels fine and who feels awful

I felt a bit hot and sweaty initially but I felt fine after 10 minutes. Everyone reacts differently so I wouldn’t worry ❤️
