When did you pick out baby's name?

My husband and I had a list of boy and girls names from way before we started trying for baby. We were set on our boys name and yes his name does match him 🥰

We had gotten it down to two but I felt I needed to see him before knowing what name suited him x

In the car on the way to the hospital whilst on labour. Husband turns to me a says "so what should we call him" 🤣 I had a short list as he didn't really know / mind. My eldest picked a name off the list and we went with that 😊

My partner really like Noah , I wasn’t keen so we couldn’t really settle on anything. Then when I saw him I thought he really looked like a Noah so we stuck with that😂

Partner and I been together 15 years and have had a boy and girl name (including 2 middle names each) set for the past 5 years. The girl first name was a name I wanted since before we met (a nod to my nan) but it took about 7 years to convince my partner because 'it's an old lady name' 😂 then we set on the full name about 8 years ago. Boy name changed and evolved from partner's middle names + my uncle, to then switching one of his middle names to his grandads name, to then swapping the other of his middle names to his best friend's name when he passed 5 years ago. Our daughter got her name when she was born as we didn't find out gender.

So we had a name picked from day 1 of of pregnancy until he was born. We had one look at him and he just wasn’t that name 😂 (mind you, I was making fun of someone who told me she had done that) Took me a month to get used to the new name…
