Membrane sweep
4.5cm dilated and 40 weeks pregnant. Got the sweep today hoping it works! For those of you that it did work for, how long did it take?

The first sweep I had at 40+4 did nothing an I was 2cms then I had a 2nd sweep at 41 weeks and I was 3cms. That brought on Labour 3 hours later at 7pm. She was born 11:24am the next morning z
Around 8 hours after my sweep I delivered.
Mine worked in two hours
@Sharnee this is my second too. I had the sweep almost 6 hours ago. I had a bloody show and was cramping but it slowed. 😭 losing hope that’ll work
I don’t know if it helped at all but was throwing my 14m old in the air and running around with him. I stayed super active afterwards 😂 I had cramping, bloody show etc. and suddenly got stronger

I was 4cm dilated at 38+6 when I had my sweep. I had it around 10:30-11ish. He was born 8:19pm same day. He was my second though so 🤷🏻♀️
