Anxiety

Is anyone else just constantly worried? I’ve had a great pregnancy so far (touch wood) but I can’t help but think “what if” constantly and it’s affecting how excited I am :( I want my baby more than anything in the world and I am so so excited and happy, but any little symptom or if I haven’t felt movement like I have before (anterior placenta probs🙄) I’m constantly worrying! I’m nearly 28 weeks so not long to go, although it still feels too long until I have my baby in my arms. Any advice welcome because I am constantly battling in my head about how I want to give birth… feel like a section gets her here quicker and safer, but I want to experience a vaginal birth :(

I think if it’s effecting you daily you should speak to your midwife to discuss your anxieties. In terms of birth plan, definitely do some research and keep your options open. I’ve found the hynobirthing book by Siobhan Miller super helpful to talk through different options! Xx

I’m the exact same and I was in my first pregnancy too. It’s completely normal to be anxious ♥️ we just want our little bubs to be here and be safe but they’re happily tucked up in there ☺️ you can decide nearer the time want kind of birth you want too. I was dead set on a vaginal birth until I went over 40 weeks and he just kept getting bigger and bigger so opted for a c section and I don’t regret my decision. You’ll know what’s right for you and bump 🥰✨

Is a c section safer than vaginal birth? Ofc yes if clinically indicated, but otherwise not sure?
