Suddenly feeling regret as closer to labor

Is anyone else feeling this way? I was told a week ago I might need inducing from 37 weeks onwards and ever since its made me ask myself if I regret getting pregnant. Is this normal? Anyone else felt like this? I didn't feel this way before so I wonder if it's because I suddenly have a lot less time to mentally and physically prepare for baby girls arrival and being a mum.

Awe girl :( I’m sure this is just down to nerves!! If you’ve been really excited before this then I’m sure it’ll just be due to things coming faster than you expect. Just focus on the fact that once your girl is here you’ll get lots and lots of bosies, I’m sure you’ll be amazing. Definitely speak to someone about this like a partner, friend or even your midwife. I had a period of feeling really really low the last few weeks and speaking to my other half about it helped me so much. If you just need to talk to someone that doesn’t know you then my DM’s are always open 🩷

Something to mention to your midwife or a close family member so they can maybe be more on the look out for ppd/ppa.

You aren’t alone! I’ve felt like this on and off my whole pregnancy, at the start put up an incognito post and so many people told me they felt the same! Mine went away for a good while and then it’s come back now that it’s getting very close to due date. Don’t get me wrong I am so so excited to meet my little one and see my fiancée become a dad but holy shit it’s so scary! I just keep thinking our lives will never be the same again, but that’s normal. I feel like I can’t feel this way because it was a planned pregnancy but honestly so so many people have told me it’s all completely normal! Feel free to drop me a message ♥️

Before I had my first, I felt the same sometimes. She was very much wanted and planned but I was so scared to go from a quiet house of 2 to becoming 3! Those fears went away quickly though as we just love her so much and now becoming a family of 4! :-)
