Neocate
We are on neocate and have been for 2 weeks but lb seems to be worse with reflux. We are waiting for carobel pescription, however I am skeptical as he already struggles with constipation and already hasn’t been to the toilet in nearly 3 days
Is there an amino acid formula that doesn’t trigger reflux as much? Has anyone found similar on neocate with constipation and does it get better?
We had this with our LB and unfortunately we had the same with our LG. All amino acid milks are thinner so do make reflux worse.. we got gaviscon for our LG which made her more constipated so ended up on docusate to help her poop and then they gave us omeprazole.. with our LB they’ve given us omeprazole straight away and that’s helped lots! He also doesn’t poop but sometimes we give him the odd suppository to help him poop it takes a while for their stomachs to settle xxxxx
