I’m happily one and done :) for multiple reasons which all make sense for us as a family.
thats how i feel but at the same time i want more kids, im conflicted
I am an only child. I don’t think I packed anything from not having a sibling. I had an amazing childhood, a great imagination, and I had plenty of friends close by.
I'm in a situation where I might well be one and done through circumstances (my age). I focus on what I can give to my little boy- all my attention, financial resources, etc. There is a bit of a niggle but I feel that human biology is going to force it. My son has some family beyond us in the form of cousins. I'm also reminded that siblings aren't the be and end of everything. My husband was one of 6 and doesn't talk to those who are still alive.
We are one and done--it's great!
