Please help

I need to go to hopsital tonight with severe belly ache and they told me the chance is big that i need an operation on my stomach. Thing is, im a single mum and no family around, her dad is not around and my 2 friends got their own babies to look after. Is there a chance that the staff can watch her? I got no clue what else to do 😭😭 she is 10 months and breastfed

Unfortunately no the hospital staff won’t be able to look after you, they will be very busy. You are better off contacting family & her dad and get ones of them to look after her. Even if they have to travel

@Jasmine my family live in another country and havent seen her dad in over 6 months. We blocked eachother on everything so wont be able to get in contact

Oh, that’s a shame. But the hospital really won’t be able to look after your daughter. X

@Jasmine ah shite.. no idea what to do then 😪 thank you x

not trying to scare you but when i was in hospital they told they’d have to ring socials if there was no one to look after my baby cause they couldn’t and i had to self discharge myself and stayed stick for weeks. it was the first time i realised how alone i was in this. i wish i could help you, if you wanna chat or anything my DMs are always open, goodluck with it all & hopefully you find a workaround 💗

@roula oh no that’s horrible😭😭😭😭 my worst nightmare xx

@Jasmine ikr, there really isn’t much out there when your single with no support network sadly 💔 they described it basically “temporarily signing them away” which can’t really trust 😭 i was even under the perinatal mht & they couldn’t even accommodate him in the mother & baby unit :/ xx

@roula nope. Not for me ❌ what about if your baby never comes home?! All because you desperately needed help whilst in hospital😭😭😭😭😭 xx

@Jasmine exactly!! my exact thoughts, i just chose to suffer at home but mom guilt was real cause could literally only do the very minimum 😭😭 xx

@roula oh my god thats horrible.. its so difficult to trust someone when you need it the most! Thank you, appreciate it xx

@roula but at least you still had your baby!!!! Hope you are ok now xx

I’m so sorry to hear this! You’ve got to ask your friends, even tho they have children themselves if they are good friends they will look after your little one. Wish I could help more! Message me if you need some emotional support. Sending all the best! Xxxx

This is really sucky and I'm sorry you're having to go through this. How long is the operation and recovery time? Could you get a childminder?x

Im admitted to hospital now and there was a lovely nurse that looked after my baby girl while i had tests and scans done. Very thankful! 🩷

that’s good to hear!! Glad to know you was able to get checked out❤️
