Christmas gifts!

I know I’m super early 😂 but I want to be organised for once haha. My little boy will turn 9 months on Christmas Day and I just don’t know what to get him! Anyone got any suggestions? 🥰

How about pjs

Cardboard box and invest the money you would have spent instead. He will never remember the 'thing' you buy anyway.

For my little ones first Christmas she got a couple Santa/Christmas themed books which we've continued to read together at Christmas 🎄 which is a nice idea I think. I did first Christmas Jumper as that's always cute for pics/keepsakes xx

D9nt go overboard either gifts especially toys, they won't remember it snd grow out of things so fast. My lo is 3 now and playroom is full ive got tons ive got to get rid of. I'd say clothes, days out/passes and maybe toys a little older to grow into. You'd be surprised on a 1st birthday how many ppl buy gifts for a baby. Think the main things I got LO on his 1st Xmas (11m) was a ride on car, jigsaws, duplo toot toot set and things from his favourite TV show. I bought loads of other things he was never interested in so calmed down since. X

For my sons first Christmas when he was 10 months, I bought more sentimental things that I can keep for years to come! I got a Christmas Eve box, with books and personalised stuff. I also got a personalised board for the cookies and milk to sit on. I then maybe got him a handful of gifts just so he had something to open from me and my partner, the rest of the family spoiled him

I've started to write a list for family so we don't get loads of stuff he'll be 8 months). So far I've got a personalised bag for nursery, a bedroom door sign, a walker and a height chart xx

@Emma yeah I just want a few for him to open so he can experience it! Gonna get him books because even though he already has tonnes you can never have too many! We’ve already spoke to family and they are either gonna pay for a day out for him to have an experience or put money in his bank account we have opened for him for anything he needs in the future which is nice because I don’t want him to get too much, he already has loads already from what people bought when he was born etc. xx

My daughters first Christmas she was 5 months, The things she got most use out of were - Her walker - Activity table - A toy controller - A whale that you put balls in (We also got her a ball put but she didn’t bother will that till she was about 9months) Remember yes this is their childhood and they won’t remember much but this is also YOUR parenthood! Enjoy every second, make those memories and take photos to show your little one when they’re older.

Love this reply! @Becci I understand it’s just material things that they won’t understand but I want to give him the experience! And like you said, we also want this experience! I can’t tell you how long we waited for this and how much we dreamt about all of his and our ‘firsts’!
