Potty training in commence starting from tomorrow!

So we have a potty at my mums (we are always there) I’m going to order a potty for our flat. My 22 month old knows what potty is but hasn’t voluntarily used it yet! I’m not particularly in a rush but I will try to get a start on things and see how we go. I will slowly try to do cold turkey and have no nappy and use it just for nap time/sleep time. Wish me luck 🤞🏽

If he is ready it could go really well! Our 21 months old potty trainned himself last month !

@Bréa wow! Amazing! 👏🏽 I feel like he’s shown the odd signs. Like he’s gone up to the potty and said poo poo wee wee and the other day he voluntarily sat in the potty (he still had his nappy on). How did you son potty train himself. What did he do etc

We had a potty at home from when he was 18 months, and hes never even looked at it but we were fine with it. Around 19 months he started saying poo and then would poo in nappy. 20 months he started ripping his nappy screaming bloody murder if we tried to put it back on so we were lost 😅 we were moving into our new house I didnt had time for that 😅 Put he would play outside without pants and randomly pee 🙈 and come in too poo. In a couple of days he understood the feeling and started to let us know and we would have to rush to the potty, after about a week we notice he was able to hold it longer after announcing it now its been a months we go out with him everyday he pees in adult toilets when we arrive and leave thats mandatory he knows it otherwise we just listen to him. We didn't have much accidents but sometimes it will happen out of nowhere 😅
