Need some tips/advice!

I really struggle to give my LO calpol as he literally screams and cries as I try to give it to him with the syringe. I’ve tried giving it on a spoon too and that just went everywhere and he stopped opening his mouth 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is anyone else in the same boat as I’m feeling like it’s just me struggling atm! He very rarely has calpol as he’s been pretty chilled out when teething but the rare occasion he needs it I find myself dreading it.

Hey, I've seen someone who was giving it in the bottle teat. Maybe try that x

If they take a dummy, there's specific dummy's that you can put medication in. My little one hates it too, I usually give her it lying down and have it pointing towards the inside of her cheek. Ive just accepted the crying though lol x

I pretend that I am eating it and then my LO wants to have it as well x

When we’ve gave our baby calpol we’ve just put it into his bottle of milk & had no problems xx

I’m that desperate I will try all of these! Thank you all ❤️ x

Try not to stress, both of mine don't like it. Like Chiara said, you just accept the crying. You don't harm him, he will be fine. Hopefully something works out better! Let us know x

It’s the mum guilt 😭 he gets so distressed (even though it’s over in a minute). I’ll try and see if he prefers any of these suggests but if not I’ll just brave it and remind myself I’m not torturing him 😂 x
