Refuses to use potty

My newly 3 year old boy refuses to use the potty now. He knows when he has to go and will tell me..and was doing great using the potty. Now..he demands a diaper. I’ve tried reward charts, trying to make it fun, making it “his” idea….anyone have any better suggestions??

I'm going through the same thing. The less you pressure, the better. Let it come naturally.

At home I let my kiddo go pants less so she has no choice but to use the potty, our struggle is public bathrooms

@Crystal I have him running around pantless..and he’s happy as a clam until he has to go…then brings me a diaper!

Is he using the big potty or a training one? My daughter refused to use the training one cause she wanted to play with it and we ended up getting a fancy toilet seat with the little one built into the lid and now she has no issues going on her own cause she gets to be like mommy. We also hid all her pullups so she can't just bring me one or put it on herself she's got no choice but to use the potty. Honestly it's been a lot of time and patience, wish there was an easy answer for ya 😞
