Encouragement ❤️🥺

I have a 15mo old and I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. The morning sickness is already killing me!! My anxiety is through the roof (I get really stressed about not feeling well/ throwing up). How did y’all make it through your first trimester with a toddler?! I need some advice/ words of encouragement please!😭❤️

I am feeling the exact same I have a 1 year old and I'm 13 weeks pregnant the sickness is taking over me I'm so exhausted and I'm so scared all I can say is try to take day by day and all we can do is our best xx

Anti nausea meds (I had to have 2 types) for severe HG I was hospitalised and had to be away from my 5m old for periods of time. Go get them from your gp, they helped amazingly and I was able to actually function.

I got anti sickness from my doctor it was the only way I could do anything. Prior to that I was just staying in all day lying on the sofa. The mum guilt was real

firstly, congratulations mama!! 🥰 secondly, i won’t sit here and lie and say it’s easy because it isn’t- it’s bloody hard BUT it’s only temporary and then you’ll have two beautiful children, growing together and reminding you every day how blessed you are ❤️ thirdly, i know how you feel. i currently have a 21 month old and a 3 month old, so i know exactly what you’re going through being pregnant with a small child. it’s hard, but all i can say, try and relax when you can- really try and make that time to rest & don’t overdo it. i felt so guilty for not being more present with my toddler due to feeling so poorly so i pushed myself too hard & made myself feel worse. be kind to yourself and know it’ll get better soon ❤️

Thank you all so much for your suggestions and kind words!! It gives me hope that I can get through this!!❤️ I made an appointment with my Dr so hopefully I can get some extra medicine to help!!

My first trimester sickness was awful and my toddler was going through a rough stage. I ended up going to the doctor for anti sickness medication as it’s the only thing that helped, some people find sickness bands help and ginger biscuits too! I promise it does get easier I know when I was in it,it felt impossible and never ending and then one day I was able to eat as normal and started to feel less sick! If you’re craving something eat it,make sure you’re drinking plenty of fluids (and electrolyte drinks) otherwise you’ll feel drained and when your toddler naps and you’re feeling tired please rest,I know we can be guilty of trying to get things done when babies/toddlers nap but in the first trimester especially you need all the rest x

Also don’t be discouraged if the first lot of anti sickness meds don’t help as much the doctor will just go through a list until they find something that works for you x
