Constant worries

How do you cope with constant nagging worries about terrifying things like still births and SIDS? Things that can just happen for absolutely no reason? I'm about to go into my third trimester, and these thoughts are just kind of always in the back of my mind 😮‍💨

Sertraline.. my ob prescribed it to me, and the thoughts still trickle in but I feel like I can shoo them away a lot faster.. ive been taking them since about 12w, and I'm now 6w pp (and she was born at 39w)

@Moira I'm actually already on Sertraline... Been on it since 5 weeks, maybe I might need to up my dose a bit.

Ugh I have the same worries... 🙃

Honestly I think the worries are pretty normal. Now, if they're interfering with your sleep or daily life then it's definitely time to talk to your provider!

Completely normal to have those fears. I still have those fears and my son is about to be 7 months. But it really helped me to talk to a therapist on ways to control those anxieties and fears! They aren’t perfect now, but way better managed! I also was on sertraline while pregnant and didn’t love the side effects so I changed my meds after giving birth, helped a good bit too!
