Joined the August baby group

So my September baby ended up being an August baby! He decided to make an unexpected and super quick appearance. So quick, in fact, that I delivered him in the passenger seat of the car 🤦‍♀️😍😂. Anyway just wanted to say Hi! How's everyone doing??

OMG sounds like you had quite an experience! Hope you and your baby are well now? ❤️ We were quite fast as well, they almost sent me home at 10cm dilated as didn't think I'd be there yet and there's a point to even check until I begged! No time for epidural neither :(

I feel less alone hearing this. I was sent to MAU and left alone in an exam room waiting on test results while I quickly progressed to 9cm. They refused to check me any sooner. It's my first baby so no one was expecting it to be that fast! Hope you're all getting on well now!

Welcome to the August group. My August baby was also super quick and ended up being an unplanned home birth, didn’t have time to get out the house my poor husband had to catch the baby 😂. Hope you and baby are doing well. x

It was a bit crazy! We're doing so well now, thanks 😊 Oh my God! 10cm and being sent home?! You could have ended up with a car baby, too 😂. No epidural but I ended up having to get a spinal block anyway because the placenta wouldn't budge 🙄
