Someone help me interpret these tests!

I'm supposed to be ovulating today, 9 months postpartum. I've been period level bleeding for 2 days, then it stopped. The top test is premom ovulation. The bottom is a pregnancy test, not fmp. Premom says .35. I'm just so confused. We had sex on Monday, and my husband has been across the country from me the month prior.

These are both negative. If you've just had a period then you're not likely to be ovulating now. When you say "supposed to be" is that based off an app?

@Charley yes I have a fememeter ring

@Cecilia-Jean have your periods returned regularly since having your baby? I think with the recent period and negative LH test you're not ovulating, so the temp reading is likely to be down to something else

I conceived my 6 week old during my period. So yes it is possible to ovulate during/just after your period. But the pregnancy test does look negative! X

@Charley yeah me periods have been consistent since 6 months postpartum and we're very consistent before always 35 days. This bleeding started at 20 days

@Cecilia-Jean have you been tracking ovulation with tests not just temp? Mid cycle bleeding can happen due to the fluctuating hormones. But the LH test is definitely negative, depends how often you've been testing before now and if you continue to test you may see a positive ovulation test

@Charley I usually don't test, I have very consistent middle smerts. This was very weird I had what felt like my middle smerts a week before

@Charley I’m slightly confused her LH test (top strip test) is showing two red lines this indicates positive not negative?

@Josie no, LH tests always have 2 lines. Its only a positive when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line

@Charley my LH tests are always only one line until I am nearing ovulation where I then two lines with progression so it’s definitely different for everyone

@Josie, I'm confused too

I'll take another ovulation test in the morning

@Josie do you use this brand or another? They should always have 2 lines, some of the cheaper ones I've seen people have very very faint control lines or no control line but this isn't correct and goes against the instructions. Its only positive when the test line is as dark as or darker according to the instructions

@Charley yes I do use this brand.

@Josie you should always have LH in your system though so there should always be 2 lines. The paper instructions in my box also say this specifically, so contradicting these instructions

@Charley I guess everyone is different :)

@Josie I guess so. Putting that bit to one side though, this is still a negative lh test, as the test line is much lighter than the control line. So your instructions and my instructions agree on that point at least.

Okay so for the ovulation test to be positive, the test line has to be either the same darkness or darker than the control line. And maybe i have line eyes because it lolks like a plus sign on your pregnancy test but was this picture taken within time frame?

@Patrice yes it was taken within the time frame. I got a false positive with this same brand last month

@Cecilia-Jean makes sense, same happened to me my last cycle. I would say keep testing for ovulation

@Cecilia-Jean if you only just had sex on Monday it's far too early for pregnancy tests. This one looks negative, as expected given how recently you had sex

@Charley yeah I don't think I'm pregnant, just trying to figure out the 2 day period level bleeding and cramping and bleeding 2 ish weeks ago. My periods and ovulation have been very consistent before this and we use cycle tracking as birth control so it's a little distressing when idk what's going on
