Toilet training - pre school

So LG has been toilet trained (during the day) for around a month. Apart from the first week no accidents. Since she has moved up to the preschool room she had several accidents on the first day, then one yesterday and one today. Has anyone else experienced this? I spoke to the staff yesterday morning to say I understand the changes might be distracting her but please remind her to use the toilet, and dad had sterner words when collecting her as she was soiled. Just wondering when to escalate as she doesn't have an issue at home and I don't want her to go backwards.

Yeah we had the same thing - more accidents when moving up to preschool room, more when our new baby arrived etc. New things always cause small regressions but they soon get back to normal! Our son would wet himself not long after being reminded to use the loo, I think the excitement just gets ahead of them - completely normal, they are still so young!

Same here. No advice. But I think it should be normal. It is a lot at once.

That's reassuring thank you, I just didn't want her to go backwards, it makes life so much easier not having to worry about changing nappies anymore! Just have to lug around a portable potty sometimes 😄

Same happened to my little boy. He’s been in the preschool room for a month now and his past two sessions have been accident free!

Regressions happen it's not the staffs fault. My lo has been put of nappies a year now but I remember she was potty trained for about a month then all of a sudden lots of accidents at home in my care, so I don't think it's the nursery workers fault hopefully it will pass soon and if you just keep explaining to tell your child to speak up when she needs to use the toilet with reminders from.staff which I'm sure they're doing
