Working from home

Im currently a hairstylist but after I had my baby I’ve been only working twice a week. It’s the only time we can afford for me to be away from the baby. My boyfriend is a barber and he’s very good at it books are full but with me only working twice a week we’re just not making enough and need help from family. I’ve really been wanting to look into working from home so I can watch the baby while getting work done but I’m slightly overwhelmed. I don’t really know where to start I never went to college but I’ve been pretty successful in any customer service job I’ve worked. Any moms here work from home? If you don’t mind sharing how you went about getting the job/where you applied and how it works for you working from home while taking care of your little one.

Is it possible to do hairstylist work from home?

Getting your hair done is expensive and without the overhead of maintaining a shop, you could attract customers with bargain prices and still get paid decently. I have a hairstylist who cuts your hair dry for cheap, have also had my hair cut by a different stylist where I washed it at home before and went to her with wet hair for her to cut…

I work from home in marketing and watch my little one too. While pregnant, I also did a remote data entry job. I’ve seen many job openings come across LinkedIn for marketing as well as data entry. May be worth the look.

I’m in some WFH mom groups on FB. Those are definitely good resources for finding something. I currently WFH with my baby. It can be tough, but so worth it if it means working/making money and saving money at the same time.
