@Erica I do hold his feet be he rolls his upper half and makes it hard and if he pooped when I finish wiping I’ll let go to remove the poopy diaper before he sticks his hands in it and he’ll roll real quick and pee on the floor🤦🏼♀️
Your phone. Instead of a toy or a wipe; give him your phone lol. Pro tips for diaper changing to avoid mess: 1. before you open the diaper slide a new clean diaper under his butt. This way when you pull the dirty diaper away after wiping your new diaper is already there and can be quickly closed if he starts to pee. 2. When you open the diaper rub the front of the diaper all the way down the butt and tuck it in. This hides the majority of the poop and the only thing that will be showing is the poopy wipes as you drop them down then you can fold it up a second time and strap it closed. 3. Lastly talk to baby and share with them step by step what you’re doing in a fun Ms. Rachel voice (or turn it on for them instead lol) and praise them for paying attention and playing along. Stinky pee yew! Make them laugh. Keeping them engaged helps them to learn and grow and also stay focused on you instead of trying to bail cuz butt changes are boringggg! 🖤
Put socks on his hands. Trust me. He won't roll😅
My 1 year old is so bad for this, I sit side on with him and hover my leg over his chest so hes unable to roll and if he tried he wouldnt get very far and its worked amazing so far! x
@Cassie I haven’t tried my phone , I’ll try that today! I always slide the clean diaper under his butt before taking the dirty away, I meant like he’ll roll and sit up real fast off the clean diaper and pee. I do that as well, he discovered his privates and try to mess with it, so I have to hurry and wipe that first. I have got to try that too! Normally ms Rachel is playing but he’s too busy screaming because he thinks if he can’t roll it’s going to kill him 🤦🏼♀️

@Lydia someone else suggested the leg over chest, and it works for the most part!
I used to have to hold my sons feet with one hand so they wouldn't roll or kick their feet, but if I'm using the changing table, I strap the babies down.
