Teething

My little boy has started teething and he’s so upset, it’s breaking my heart. He’s never been much of a crier so seeing him so inconsolable is awful. We’re giving calpol and teething powder to help but does anyone have any other suggestions? And any clue how long this lasts? He’s 4 1/2 months old Thanks!

Hey - you poor things! We found our baby got more relief from the baby ibuprofen and Anbesol gel. Best of luck x

Anbesol is supposed to be amazing (I’ve heard the liquid is better than the gel) but my baby is also 4.5 months so haven’t tried it as it says 5months+ I feel you though, my baby does not cry! She won’t cry when she’s hungry, done a poo, is tired 🙃😂 But with her teeth, yesterday she cried but it was like a heartbroken cry rather than a whinge and well … I balled my eyes out - that was her teeth too 😔 we’re currently just using calpol and Ashton and parsons teething gel … she likes it but not sure how much relief it gives her x

We use Ashton & Parsons Gel alongside calpol. I also freeze an oz of milk and put in a mesh feeder for her to suck on (she absolutely loves it) x
