Any September babies potty trained?

Any September babies potty trained, if so, have you switched from diapers to pull-ups or just regular baby underwears?

Is yours? My 2 year old isn't even potty trained yet :P were just about to start :P I can honestly say (mostly for the mums panicking) ive got no intention of starting my September baby yet

I just started potty training my 3 year old. I would wait a couple of months until they’re able to communicate and understand.

She’s been doing great.. & not pee during the night, would wake up in the middle of the night to pee with a clean diaper then goes back to bed Even when we go out, she would fuss in the car after a while, & when we’d stop, her diaper would be dry then would just use the potty

18 months is the typical age developmentally that kids are ready to start potty training because they are able to communicate and understand going on the toilet and control their bladder. Obviously some kids will be earlier (not the norm) and others will be later. It all depends on the child. Keep an eye out for the signs of readiness

That sounds great! If it's working for you then amazing! It's definitely way ahead of schedule for most but my niece was potty trained at 9m so I know it's possible :) you just might be hard pushed to find others in this group at that stage

I will switch out of daytime diapers soon but not potty trained. I have done elimination communication part time with both boys, highly recommend doing it to fend off issues with potty training later on. I will say for my first he was potty trained by 20 months but not going independently. I think people have different definitions of what it means and if you're wanting to try and go for it, not much need to wait. Before modern diapers were invented the majority of children were potty trained at 18 months old, fun fact for the day.
