Returning to work

I am really fortunate I got the year off with my little one. I am returning to work next week and will be in the office three full days one at home. My little one will be with my mum (who she adores) and two days in childminder who is lovely. I am struggling with the feelings of guilt that I will be leaving her but financially must return. Anyone else offer any positive experience when they returned to work as reassurance. I have awful feelings my little one will think I’ve left her 😢x

So I’ve not gone back to work yet, but my little one started nursery this week and literally cried when he realised he was going home 🤣. I started him 2 weeks before going back so he would be fully settled. But honestly he bloody loves it I’m sure your little one will be the same. X x

My little girl started her 2 days a week at nursery at the start of July. The first 2 weeks were hard because I was feeling alllll the guilt, but her loving nursery really helped. Honestly once I got back into the swing of things at work, I really started to enjoy our new routine and I really just make the most of our time together on the weekends. I've also changed my working pattern to have every other Monday off with her which has helped. It will all fall in to place ❤️

I’m due back on 30/09 and I have also started my boy in nursery as of yesterday to allow him to be settled before I go back. He’s doing 3 days in nursery and 1 with my parents so trying to get him in the routine of being up and out in the morning etc. I think the mum guilt eases off and it is good for them to socialise etc! x
