The 7th is 10dpo so most would say then, imo, wait until the day before af is due

9DPO for science fun, but most start at 10

So I tested at 9dpo, but that was when my period was due, and I ovulated later than day 14. It turns out I ovulated on day 18!! X

It depends, are you assuming your ovulation just from the app or did you take ovulation tests. The apps aren’t always correct (never were for me) since they just use dates to predict things and tests are more accurate. Personally I would wait to test until your next period comes, sometimes testing too early messes with your mind if you see a negative test even though you could show a positive later

@Kristian Larger haha i used the app and pull out method for years with no problems...it ended up being the one month that i used ovulation strips to try and be more accurate that i ended uo pregnant 😂(i was avoiding pregnancy with my first)
