Christmas presents

Has anyone had any ideas for their baby’s first Christmas presents? My Nan is buying my LO a rocking horse and we’ve already got a walker ready and waiting. I don’t wanna buy her toys when she’ll probably get lots from family. I was thinking of just putting some money away for her when she’s older but I’d also like to buy her something- maybe something to keep? Any ideas?

Ive got my girl some toys to grow into next year, as i tell family what to get so i know shes not got a lot coming. Going to get a santa key as we dont have a chimney and will use that key every year. You could do swim lessons or a piece of jewelry?

Other than a walker we are getting some books, a coat and asking family to either get clothes in the next size up or moment for his savings account. But you could do a momento like a teddy or blanket made it of their newborn clothes

We’ve said a toniebox, this kids loves stories and songs and although too little to use it straight away we can do it with her at first and then I’ve said if we get the blank ones and family can record a story for her or song. That’ll be the main ish gift and then we thought some sort of activity centre with household items/ locks etc as this kid loves to figure out how things work

Mine will be getting a toybox, simple one, and getting her name and other wooden bits to personalise off Etsy. We did the same with my first. If family ask for ideas, we are suggesting a voucher for a sensory class/ swimming/ farm etc.

I’ve bought a toybox & jumparoo (both on offer so didn’t want to miss it) - that’s if I don’t get the jumparoo out before. Going to buy clothes & some books, few toys. Not getting a lot as pointless at this age and going to ask family to buy next size up clothes or give money x

I was wondering the same , we have brought our little girl a touch piano as it’s a toy that can grow with her , definitely some books also as you can’t go wrong with books but unsure on what else , looking online but it’s so overwhelming
