My 4y 2m old girl still wants to wear nappies, she has periods of using pants & wears pants at preschool 3 days a week.. but she gets so emotional sometimes that she just wants a nappy (she’s got severe constipation) don’t rush her.. she’ll do it 🫶🏼
My nephew didn't learn until he was 3.5 years old. He was super resistant. Then just one day they tried potty training when it was warm and put the potty in the garden and he just got it. I think he was just ready. I don't think there was anything special they did. He was just ready. My son was showing all the signs at the beginning of the year and did a wee and poo in the potty but suddenly he wasn't interested anymore and if I bring it up he'd get funny about it. Sometimes he'll sit on it if I ask him before bath time but still refuses. Sorry I don't have tips but just wanted to reassure you that it'll be ok to wait a bit longer :)
Personally I’d show her you throwing the nappies in the bin and when she has a meltdown tell her the bin man took them so she has to do wee wees on the potty. Make the biggest deal ever about the potty and reward highly with praise and stickers. So many stickers = a treat. Chocolate or whatever x
Preparation is key! Start with introducing independence, being able to pull up and down their own pull ups, trousers etc. helping get themselves dressed and start talking about wees and poop motions when changing pull ups. Please please please don’t just take away the pull up! Xx
Have a look at the oh crap method
My little boy is the same, I would be welcome to any tips please 🙏🏻
