Weak Bladder Soluations?

As the title says, I have a super weak Bladder and it's causing me problems to the point I'll have infections from it. What's everyone's solutions for this? Regular period pads, special underwear, or something else? I'm so embarrassed when I'm at work and I have wet underwear at the beginning of the work day 😞 plus the rashes...

Have you reached out to a physician about this? I had a coworker who experienced something similar and she ended up needing surgery once they found the root of the problem. The issues got worse after her second kid.

@Leslie Interested to know about the surgery plus the root of the problem if you have any details!

@Kristen it was weak pelvic floor muscles and I believe she had something with her urethra going on. I don't remember all of the details but basically child birth played a huge role in her having leakage issues.

She had a tear in her urethra if I remember correctly

My grandmother had ended up with surgery for her bladder. I see my doctor on the 13th, but I'm wondering if I need to wear a pad until then.

My co worker was using incontinence underwear but I don't remember the brand so I don't really have a suggestion for which would be best. I just know that any kind of pressure or certain movements made her drip or full out pee

@Leslie thank you!

I have been diagnosed with a bladder weakness since I was six, I was on medication with was on oxybutynin hydrochloride, it didn’t really make a massive difference for me and the side effects was a dry mouth which then makes you drink more. I do suffer from incontinence now, I think it could have a lot to do with me having a baby, so I wear Tesco’s own make discreet pads.

@Kristen you're welcome! When she came to me at work to just talk and told me I was like wth I didn't know you could tear that! Lmao. She taught me something totally new

My doctor suggested pelvic floor therapy to see if it helped then we could go from there if weight loss was needed or surgery. Therapy helped me... it's some pretty easy exercises just really getting to know your body
