The only thing that worked for my acne was cleaning my face with with a clean wet washcloth every morning and every evening then applying lotion. Make sure you use a fresh washcloth every time!
Mine was horrendous but did clear by around 16-20 weeks. I used duac and benzoyl peroxide from the doctors and only washed my face with cera ve saylic acid cleanser then moisturiser cetaphil gentle. I hardly use the creams from the doctors now. Hope it clears soon x

My midwife said they would get a doctor to prescribe me something but never did and then I went to the GP and they told me it was just hormones and it would go once I wasn’t pregnant 🤷🏻♀️
I encourage you to go back to the doctor, mine was really bad around 16 weeks and they prescribed me benzoyl peroxide gel which cleared it. I still have hormonal breakouts but nothing like what it was, yes pregnancy causes acne but it shouldn't be unbearable
How many weeks are you? After 12 there are options like antibiotics from your GP but you can also get benzoyl peroxide over the counter which works really well for moderate acne x
