Repeat sample NIPT

Happened to me - we waited two weeks then got results. Baby was born two weeks ago and is happy and healthy. Hang tight - it’ll be okay

Yea had to redo mine 3 weeks after first collection didn't have enough fetal DNA in my blood at the time of the first draw

I did mine at 13 weeks so that’s why I’m confused why there were no results 🥺. But thank you ladies, I’ll stay positive ♥️

Don't worry I was at 12w5d when I did my first one When I did it again three weeks later there were no problems

Am lost what is NIPT? Can someone please explain that to me thank you

@Philly non-invasive prenatal testing it's done to check for things like down syndrome and early detection what sex your baby is stuff like that

Just to tell my story about the other side of this (not to scare you, but it is a possibility) ... I had blood taken at 10 weeks and got inconclusive results. Had blood taken at 12 weeks and got inconclusive results again. I had a miscarriage at 15 weeks and we sent in a sample of him to be tested and it came back positive for Trisomy.
