Here are some that I wrote down for mine last March: -Long or short protocol: ask why -Which days of the week they do egg collection? -Should I have my Progesterone tested? -is there a direct line/email for nurses? -is there an Emergency line? -What happens of things go wrong: eg if follicles are too many, linings too thick/thin -Fresh or frozen? If not fresh, do they cover 2 frozen?(for NHS) -Buserulin shortage: what's the alternative? Some can be based on your diagnosis if you have one. For example if you have PCOS or are at risk of OHSS they'll likely do a freeze all and avoid a fresh transfer. Worth asking. I hope it helps

I do have pcos, what is ohss? @Vit

That's Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. It can happen when you have many follicles/eggs and it gets worse in case of pregnancy hormones so they tend to avoid a fresh transfer and do only frozen.

If it’s your very initial consult, you might want to ask about your diagnosis, if / what tests they still need to do, What treatment they propose and why, your chances of success with these treatments, the timeline etc. IVF is not necessarily first line unless you already tried other things like letrozole (typically used to induce ovulation on patients with PCOS). Only if your treatment is IVF and you know ahead of going, I would read about and/ or watch a couple of YouTube videos about the IVF process to understand it. That will help you identify relevant questions for YOU.
